OUR RESIDENCE

Our Residence offers a cozy, comfortable, affordable country retirement residence.  A place where seniors are part of a family and we treat everyone like they were our very own parents.

Rich in local history

Built in 1965 as a motel on Highway 15, The SkyLark Inn welcomed guests and weary travelers for more than 20 years. Situated in the middle of acreage and an expanse of land, our grounds have matured in the 35 years since The SkyLark became the Elmsley hotel, restaurant & hall... and then/now Lombard Manor Retirement Residence.

Many locals still remember us as a road stop from the '60s and '70s and many still would come along and enjoy the social activities and night life offered.

Although a little quieter now, we're proud of our heritage and still offer one of the best rest and recuperation spots in Rideau Lakes!

Owner & Staff

Since May 2021, Lombard Manor is owned by Christine & Matt Monfils.  They purchased Lombard because of the atmosphere and environment that the staff have created here.  They also noted a demand for quality country retirement living.  Something simple, comfortable and affordable.  Therefore over the next three years (staring spring 2021) they will be investing back into Lombard Manor.  This will include:

3 Year Plan:

  • Entire front landscaping and courtyard upgrade

  • Full interior and exterior paint with some special added touches (you have to come see!)

  • renovations and upgrades to the interior and exterior

  • New roof and entryway

  • Install new nursing call bell system

  • Upgrades to the dining experience

  • More outside the box activities, programs and events including greater opportunities for residents to volunteer, give-back and contribute. (we believe everyone needs a sense of purpose!)

And much more!!
