| Jean McGrath RPN, Administrator Jean is a local lifetime resident of Lombardy area, and has over 30 years nursing experience. She also has been employed by Doctors offices, both in Smiths Falls and Brockville Hospitals, and has worked as a VON Nurse. Please come and join Jean for lunch and take a tour of our newly renovated facility. | ||
| Gloria Evans RPN, Nurse in Charge Gloria has 38 years of experience in the nursing field. She started at the Smiths Falls Hospital then moved to Edmonton to work in a hospital. From the hospital Gloria worked as an office nurse for a family physican for 15 years. She moved back to Smiths Falls in 1986 and worked with a family physcian, in Smiths Falls for 17 years and now is our "Nurse in Charge" at Lombard Manor. In 2003 Gloria was chosen to take the College of Nurses, Quality Assurance Exam so she comes to us with great qualifications and experience. | | Joanne Meeks & Terry Meraw , Cooks Both Joanne and Terry have a love for cooking that shows in the wonderful meals that are prepared at Lombard Manor. Our residents are delighted with the home cook meals and desserts they have on a daily basis. The meals are nutrious and are served with taste and presentation in mind. Our cooks are willing to try recipes that our residents pass on to them. The kitchen is clean and organized and we are glad to have Joanne and Terry looking after this area for us. |
| Heather Trafford, Staff Supervisor Heather is our staff supervisor, making sure all shifts are covered with qualified staff members. Heather has been at Lombard Manor from the very beginning. After graduating with a Health Care Aide Certificate, she worked at a long term care facility for a year before coming to Lombard Manor. Heather has worked most shifts and is more than willing to try her hand at whatever is asked of her. She is our head housekeeper now and our facility has never looked better. Heather feels, "There is no better place to work... Lombard Manor is a second home to me and I am proud to say I work here." | | Lynda Colling, Activity Director Lynda, as you will soon realize when you speak to her, was born in Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1985. Since that time she has worked primarily in retirement facilities and feels she has found the field she loves to work in. Lynda has worked in a number of different capacities but Activity Director is "...absolutely my favourite position." Lynda keeps the residents busy with a number of different activities that appeal to a variety of interests. |
